It’s been 28 years since director Kevin Smith introduced the world to Dante (Brian O’Halloran) and Randall (Jeff Anderson) and how they’ve just been wasting their boring mundane lives away in the Lorado, NJ Kwik Stop! Then, in 2006 we caught up with the pair once more. After burning down the Kwik Stop, they headed to Mooby’s for yet another hilariously filled set of circumstances. The the pair finally decided what they wanted in life, to own and run their own business. Now, after finally achieving their ultimate goal, the pair is back, along with the always hilarious duo Jay (Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob (Kevin Smith), in what is sure to be their greatest adventure to date. Clerks III hits theaters September 13, 2022, so do whatever you have to and don’t miss this incredible introduction to the fall movie season.
I could listen to Kevin Smith tell stories for hours. Clerks III was fun as hell. pic.twitter.com/1F5qkVERrb

Just got out of #ClerksIII on @ThatKevinSmith‘s #ConvenienceTour! I laughed; I cried.😂😭 It was so good to see Dante, Randal, Elias, Veronica, and Becky (plus others). “You’re not even supposed to be here today.”💔 I hope we get “Clerks IV” like Kevin mentioned during the Q&A.🙏 pic.twitter.com/RiFGhDvYPK

After arriving late to her Airbnb, Tess (Georgina Campbell) discovers that her accommodations have been mysteriously double booked. Rather than try to find somewhere else to stay, Tess decides to stay the night in the house with her new bunkmate Keith (Bill Skarsgård). At Keith’s insistence, Tess takes the bedroom, locks the door, and settles in for what she believes is going to be a restful sleep. Unfortunately for both Tess and Keith, the house has other plans for the two newcomers.
I’m so happy I went into #Barbarian knowing absolutely nothing because it was the most entertaining, wild, chaotic and messed up ride from start to finish. Strong and committed performances from the entire cast as well. Do yourself a favor and go into this as blindly as possible! pic.twitter.com/mS2J3E24f5

Saw new horror movie Barbarian and thought it was clever and entertaining. If you go see, go in knowing as little about it as possible.

Medieval tells the unforgettable story of Czech General Jan Žižka and his incredible rise to power. The film centers around Žižka’s (Ben Foster) early years, before the Hussite Wars when he was young and just coming into his own. Europe is engulfed in war, plague, and famine. To unite the countries and end the war, Jan Žižka must kidnap a young woman named Katherine, niece to the king of France and keep her safe. He fights for honor, freedom and duty to his king. In the words of General Jan Žižka himself, “Kings may be chosen by God. But they still make the mistakes of men.” Don’t be one of those men and make the mistake of skipping this movie. You can see it now exclusively in theaters!
#MedievalMovie one of the best movies to come out this year

Just watched the new movie about the Czech icon/warlord called Jan Žižka (Medieval) and wow. Beautiful movie! Felt like Game of Thrones for a moment, but better! 😄 10/10, recommended

After a scandal of biblical proportions rocks the Southern Baptist Mega Church founded by Lee-Curtis Childs (Sterling K. Brown), it is up to his amazing wife and first lady Trinitie Childs (Regina Hall) to work her magic and help her superstar husband rebuild their congregation from the ground up. The couple will spare no expense and will do whatever they have to to make this dream a reality. Honk For Jesus: Save Your Soul is executive produced by Jordan Peele. The film is based on Adamma Ebo’s short film of the same name and is written, produced, and directed by Ebo herself.
“honk for jesus. save your soul.” is so brilliant. was a hard watch, as i’m still healing from my organized religion trauma, but it mirrors the absolute foolishness that really goes on with brilliantly poignant satire. it’s just as spot on as “don’t look up” was. very needed.

You loved him when he had no memory of who he was after being banished to earth in Thor. You rooted for him when he was battling the Dark Elves attempting to plunge the universe into darkness in Thor: The Dark World. He learned how to work with a team when he joined the Avengers. Finally, you hooted and hollered when he wielded Stormbreaker in Thor: Ragnarok. Now, join him on his most perilous mission since his battle with the mighty Thanos, as he embarks a quest to find inner peace after turning over the rule of New Asgard to Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) in Thor: Love and Thunder
Thor: Love and Thunder sees our overweight hero facing off with Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale) with the aid of his friend’s Korg (Taika Waititi), Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), and Jane Foster, The Mighty Thor (Natalie Portman), with a special appearance from The Guardians of the Galaxy. Thor: Love and Thunder is a favorite among fans and critics alike. In a review from USA Today, writer Brian Truitt calls Thor: Love and Thunder “a superhero romantic comedy with plenty of rippling biceps, an unshakable love for 1980s action movies and heavy metal, and most importantly, a big goofy heart.” Sentiments felt all around Hollywood.com for sure.
#ThorLoveAndThunder SHORT REVIEW.
Another fun, action-packed chapter in Thor’s long MCU journey. My expectations were exceeded.
With perfect blend of comedy, character-driven stories and fantastic fight scenes, Thor Love and Thunder is one of the best movie in this phase. pic.twitter.com/0m1wImetSI

The skies have never looked hotter. After 35 years Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is still flying high as the Navy’s premier test pilot, doing whatever he can to avoid being promoted in an effort to avoid being grounded. Now, Maverick is being called upon once again to train a new batch of Top Gun recruits for a mission that’ll test their strength and will. Along the way Maverick faces ghosts from his past that he’s tried desperately to bury. With help from old friends and his late friend’s son, Maverick will come out stronger in the end.
Kristin Myers from The Blast says that “Critics are calling Top Gun: Maverick the ‘movie event of the summer’”, and we tend to agree. Taking what we loved from the original 1987 high flying adventure and cranking it up to a thousand is about the only way to explain how truly mesmerizing this film is. Never has there been a Tom Cruise film that had me dreaming of doing what I just saw on the big screen, quite like Top Gun: Maverick, but maybe it’s just because I want to look as good in a flight suit as Tom himself. Check out this Twitter comment if you still don’t agree.
See the highest highs and make this film the one you see this weekend out of all the new movies to watch.
Finally saw Top Gun: Maverick today. What a super entertaining movie! Loved it – far, far better IMO than the original Top Gun!😍😍

Since the onset of the global pandemic, many actors have been forced to take a break whether they wanted to. While some may have found this to be a much-needed rest, others wanted to keep going. One could easily say this was the case for actor Idris Elba. The actor has had several films released in the years since the pandemic of 2020, with 2 happening in 2021 and now 4, possibly 5, in 2022. So, what does the actor have in store for us now?
Beast sees the actor playing a family man intent on protecting his family when a massive lion decides to hunt them in the Savannas of Africa. But why is this beast hunting this family? Unable to discern between poachers and a family, the beast seeks revenge after being hunted for sport by poachers, and the family just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Beast also stars Sharlto Copley, Iyana Halley, Leah Jeffries, Mel Jarnson, and Amara Miller, and you can catch it in theaters starting August 19, 2022.
As someone who was in The Lion King, I will never look at a lion the same way again🥺 @idriselba is doing the damn thing and this film had me jumping, yelling and talking back to the screen…literally. Filmed in South Africa Beast is a heart stopper #BeastMovie pic.twitter.com/c7sDku0ftb

Well folks, I think it’s safe to say that Marvel has their work cut out for themselves this year. The DCEU is bringing together some of the biggest powerhouses in Hollywood for this year’s sleeper hit of the summer, DC League of Super-Pets. When Superman (John Krasinski) is kidnapped, Krypto the super dog (Dwayne Johnson), must form an unlikely team of pets, including Ace, the Bat-Hound (Kevin Hart), to go out and save his master. Also along for the ride are some very familiar faces, Batman (Keanu Reeves), Wonder Woman (Jeemela Jamil), Flash (John Early), and Cyborg (Daveed Digs).
In Hollywood.com’s review of the film, Natalie Daniels revels in the on-screen and off-screen friendship dynamic between Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart.
“Audiences get to witness a masterful dynamic between the two: Dwayne Johnson is strong and a bit too prideful, while Kevin Hart takes on the comedic and sometimes weaker of the bunch. Both personalities may joke and get on each other’s nerves, but the two characters always have each other’s backs.”
You can catch all the action in theaters now.
Saturday night out at the movies! We are excited to see DC League of Super-Pets! pic.twitter.com/Y9cXZBRjnd

The League of Super Pets movie is, like my lifemate said, far better than it has any right to be. Helps if you know a good bit of DC super hero lore. I was laughing quite a bit! And that hulk-o-guinea-pig fella… is HOT.
— Vinson Mink (@MinkVinson) August 6, 2022

DC League of Super Pets is easily my favorite Warner animation feature in quite a while. The movie is both really funny and has some surprising emotion sprinkled in, especially with Kevin Hart’s character.

What do you get when you put a rag-tag bunch of assassins with the same mission on a train? You get a recipe for action, disaster, and absolute hilarity. This fast-paced action film finds these assassins careening through the Japanese countryside as they travel from Tokyo to Kyoto. Then, we are treated to many backstories, some often seemingly unnecessary, and a whole host of amazingly choreographed fight scenes. So, what is their mission, and which one of them will be successful? Join Ladybug (Brad Pitt), Prince (Joey King), Wolf (Bad Bunny), Tangerine (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), and Lemon (Brian Tyree Henry) on the big screen this month and find out for yourselves.
Hollywood.com’s Natalie Daniels argues that Brad Pitt not only leads the plot but stabilizes it as well.
“Amidst the assassins, story arc, and several train stops, Brad Pitt’s Ladybug stays consistent. He’s a man on the brink of retirement roped into another killer task. He’s a changed man from his previous assassin work, using his therapy tools to be less reactive, as he says. Brad Pitt’s character is a bit reminiscent of the retired hitman Hutch Mansel in Nobody.”
Will this comedy thrill ride be your choice of the many movies to watch this month?
#BulletTrain is a Deadpool style 80’s action. At times felt like it was Paying homage to the Yakuza video games or that is just me but still a great way to end the summer movie season 9/10!!!!

BULLET TRAIN WAS OD. Movie was funny as hell, the joke Lemon made about white girl tears had me dying. Speaking of, Lemon and Tangerine are my GOATS real mc’s of the movie. Go watch Bullet Train if you can great action comedy. pic.twitter.com/utIhvvHnKe
